Steve Bechina was a Sergeant of the Chicago Police Department, assistant football coach for St. John Fisher, a neighborhood icon to many, and most importantly a family man.  He never hesitated to help anyone who needed it and primarily cared about the wellness of others. Our mission at the Steven J Bechina Memorial Foundation is to provide support to those in need and celebrate the amazing and supportive community Steve was part of.

The Steven J Bechina Memorial Foundation is a 501c(3) foundation where over the last four years, the foundation has raised money through our largest event, The Steve Bechina Memorial Golf Outing and Benefit. Our organization has raised money and made donations to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation and the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI). In addition, we have been able to provide scholarships to students attending local schools and countless donations to families in need in our neighborhood.
